Part 1: Planning
Full Outline of the Twitter Sales Driver Method
Why do we plan?
Sounds silly, but with how foreign Twitter may seem to you today, why would we have a goal if we have no idea what kind of potential Twitter has on our business?
The answer is that it doesn't matter that we don't know it's potential for our business, we set goals because a goal or plan is better than no plan. No matter how clueless we are going into it. If your personal expectations are that Twitter will make you an additional 10% of sales, then make that the goal. Or if you think you should measure by your Twitter following then make it that. Whatever the goal, set it, and live up to it. The important point is that regardless of how you measure your results make sure that you measure them.
