Twitter is not a magical answer for everyone's marketing strategies
 
Personalized communication by definition is not one-size-fits-all. It may take some trial and error. This website and eBook gives you all the tools you need to figure out the right Twitter formula for your business. Finding the sweet spot where your target audience overlaps with the Twitter demographic can yield big results. Twitter has a learning curve like anything else.

Give it time, don't get discouraged, you have all the tools here and you need to know Twitter like you know email.
Twitter requires maintenance
Twitter is so powerful because you can engage your customers and critics. If you stop engaging them, they will lose interest in you, or you can't properly defend your company. This takes time, but every minute on Twitter responding to tweets is a minute towards your market research. The point? It takes time. I am an advocate for automation and will teach you how to save hours a day by using the 2,000+ tools available. Spending the least amout of time in front of Twitter is part of our time management goals with the Twitter Sales Driver. Twitter is another way to connect to your audience, and since your audience is moving towards Twitter, you can't ignore Twitter, because that is ignoring your audience. Dedication of checking twitter every 2-3 days is critical. It will take no more than 15mins (depending on the interest in your company).
